The Atlantic Messenger's Grant
township correspondent says' Word
was received of the accidental
death of Bernard Plantz at his
home near Delta, Colorado, a
charge of shot passing through his
body. He was at one time a resident
of south Audubon township
and was favorably known here.
The young man referred to was the
son of Mr. and Mrs. John Plantz
well known here, and the grandson
of Mrs. Margaret Hamlin of this
city (Exira).

Note: Parents of Bernard H. Plantz were John Veeder Plantz and Susan Poage Hamlin.
