On Thursday eve, July 2d, at the
pretty country home of Samuel
Scharff and wife five miles south of
Exira, Mr. Arlie W. Ensor who has
been making his home at Mr.
Scharff's, was united in marriage to
Miss Chlora E. Lorah of Brayton. The ceremony was said by Rev.
E. W. Bates of Exira in the presence
of the immediate family, and a lady
friend from Brayton. After congratulations
the wedding guests
were invited to the dining room
where Mrs. Scharff had prepared a
bountiful wedding supper which,
mingled with social chat, made the
supper hour pass very pleasantly.Mr. and Mrs. Ensor are not decided
as to their future home, but
we wish for them much pleasure
and happiness and many years of
confiding trust which makes home
pleasant.Note: Parents of Chlora E. Lorah were John S. Lorah and Anna Jenog Keebough.
Parents of Arlie William Ensor were Reuben Ensor and Mary Humphreys.
