Saturday's "'World Herald" had
this item of interest to Audubon
township citizens in regard to two
young people of tender years:

"Marriage licenses were issued
Thursday at the Bluffs to Vernon
Wheeler of Exira, age 20, and
Myrtle Johnson of the same place,
age 15;" and of course the slender
knot was tied the same day, altho
we did not see an account of it in
the paper. Congratulations are
extended to the young couple.

Note: Parents of Myrtle Mary Johnson were Asa S. "Ace" Johnson and Hattie Marie Banning. After Vernon died in 1920, Myrtle was married to Frank Frederick Vetterick.
Parents of Ira Vernon Wheeler were Joseph Leonard "Joe" Wheeler and Clara Ethel Barchard.
