WEDDING BELLS

Helyne Marrh Gault and Howard
Hugh McCall were married
at the home of the bride's mother,
Mrs. Lissa Gault, Wednesday, December
10th in the presence of relatives
and close friends. The ceremony
was performed at 12 o'clock
by Rev. Lawton of North Branch
after which an elaborate wedding
dinner was served.

The bride has been raised in our
midst and is possessed of all the
graces of young womanhood. She
graduated from our high school in
the class of 1917, after which she
took special work to prepare herself
for teaching. She was an efficient
teacher in our schools last
year and again filled the position
until another teacher was secured
this year.
The groom is a son of Geo. McCall
a prosperous farmer who lives a few
miles east of town. He is a prosperous
and industrious young man
and takes his bride to a fine new
house which has been erected on
his farm for their future home.

The young couple left her on
the evening train for Excelsior
Springs, Missouri, to visit a sister
of the bridge after which they will
take up their residence in he new
home. Their many friends wish
for them a long life together of
happiness and prosperity.

OYSTER SUPPER FOR
CHARIVARI CROWD

A charivari party called at the
McCall home in the country one
evening last week and when asked
what they wanted stated that they
wanted an oyster supper.

Howard, always anxious to please
his friends, set the date January
13th for the time when he would
treat his friends. In answer to the
invitation a large crowd assembled
at the home Tuesday evening and
partook of one of the most delicious
oyster suppers of the season, pre-
pared by the mothers of the bride
and groom, Mrs. Lissa Gault and
Mrs. George McCall. All wished
Howard and his new bride a very
happy and prosperous wedded life.

Note: Parents of Helyne Marrh Gault were Henry Franklin "Frank" Gault and Melissa Gene "Lissa or Lizzie" Cook.
Parents of Howard Hugh McCall were George M. McCall and Lydia C. "Lida" McConnell.
