Scott Kelso, age 54 of West Des Moines, Iowa, formerly of Centerville, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at his home.
He was born March 21, 1957 at Guthrie, Oklahoma the son of Ira F. Kelso and Marge M Brewer Kelso. He married Susan I. Kelso April 11, 1975 at Kremlin, OK. He worked for Oklahoma Steel & Wire, Iowa Steel & Wire and NPI Security. He loved to hunt, fish, play golf and refurbish old furniture.
He is survived by his wife, Susan; sons Joey Kelso, Justin Kelso; and a daughter, Tori Kelso; four grandchildren, Alexander, Jade, Jessica, Armando; three brothers, Roger, Gary and Marty Kelso. He was preceded in death by his parents; step-father, Wayne Brewer and step-brother, Leon Brewer.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at the West Des Moines Church of Christ Disciples of Christ with Pastor Randy Earhart officiating. Visitation will from 1:30 p.m., until service time.
