At Albert Lea, Minnesota, July 19th, 1883, Edward G. Disbro aged 33 years, of consumption.
The deceased was a brother of Mrs. Joanna Disbro M.D., who resided at this place several years and he also made this his home for some time. He was a member of the 60th Ohio infantry and in that regiment served through the war of the rebellion. At the close of the war he joined the regular army as a musician in the 5th, U. S. Artillery where he served until his broken health compelled him to accept a discharge after which he tried the climate at different points, but all to no purpose. He made his home for some time with his sister at this point and during the winter they removed it to Albert Lea with the hopes of finding a more congenial climate, but his health gradually declined and death ensued as above stated. The remains were taken to his old home a Cleveland, Ohio, for burial.
