Died

At the residence of O. H. Sharp, in this city, on Friday morning, July 13th, John B. Wright, aged 70 years. The funeral took place on Saturday at 4 p.m. and was largely attended.

Mr. Wright was born in Brown county, Ohio in 1813, and when yet a boy removed to Williamsport, Indiana. In 1861 he came to Iowa and settled at Unionville, and in the fall of 1866 came to Centerville where he has since resided. For some years past he has been a sufferer from a complication of diseases, and for the three months preceding his death had been steadily on the decline, growing weaker day by day, and death was more the result of old age and physical exhaustion induced by other diseases than the direct result of any particular disease.
