Obituary
Died, on Feb. 21st, 1882, at his residence in Douglas township, Appanoose county, Iowa, Mr. Noah Jackson, aged 34 years.

Mr. Jackson was born in Morgan county, Indiana, in 1846, from whence he moved with his parents, when 11 years old, to this county. As a boy he was affectionate and kind to his parents, and since entering manhood's estate he has been their faithful helper until his untimely death.

The writer, in conversation with the physician who was with him at the last, learned that he expressed a willingness to die.

Mr. Jackson had been vaccinated and it was from the effect of that he died, and his last words were expressive of wonder that he should have to die from the effect of vaccination.
