Oct. 25, 1855, 60 years ago, Eli Ankrum and Miss Elizabeth Wallmer were married in Van Buren county, near the old town of Birmingham. This
aged couple have lived in Appanoose county near Moulton for 45 years and highly respected Johnnie Ankrum, an adopted son, takes care of his parents very kindly. Mr. Ankrum is 84 years of age and Mrs. A. is 79—but she looks much younger.
