Caroline Francis Perry married Pembroke Legrand White July 4, 1860. One of Their daughters Mary White taught at the Mound County school in Mallory twp. Clayton County Iowa where she met, and married Samuel George Mallory who are my great grandparents. Sadly Mary passed a few days after their first child my granddad Dean Samuel Mallory was born. Several generations of my family including Dean Samuel Mallory with his mother Mary "White" Mallory are resting in the Brown Cemetery, Mallory twp. Clayton Co. Iowa with her son & my granddad Dean Samuel Mallory & several later generations of my Mallory family now rest. Samuel Mallory remarried, and buried in the nearby Bethel cemetery.
