mary catherine brophy was born in kentucky in 1856 and moved to lansing, iowa before 1870. the brophy family worked in a button factory there. mary catherine married corneilus hinchon in lansing in 1871. they later farmed in taylor township in the paint creek area. their children were james, theresa, john, tom, will, neil, eleanor, and joseph. does anyone know anything about this family?
