Martha Jean adopted

Martha Jean Smith b 12/12/1924, born possibly in Pocahontas, may have lived in, or had a connection to Sioux City, Kingsley Iowa. Adopted formally in 1932 by Lavern and Lillian Smith of Corning Iowa. I believe Martha lived with them from about 1929 on. I'm looking for any information about her birth family. Thank you.
