Searching for information on Jay Clifford Springer born July 18 claims to be born des Moines Iowa. List parents as William Springer & Martha (Mattie) Olive McLaughlin. Not sure when born as documents have him born 3 different years.
In 1926 he's in Hardy, Saskatchewan, ON marries Grace McCartney. Doccument has him born 1888. In 1929 he's in Owen Sound, ON document has him born 1886. In 1942 still near Owen Sound, document has him born 1883. He died in 1960. Not sure when came to Canada. He claimed to be Scotch-German.
