The old Calhoun brick school, built in 1875, was dismantled in 1995

Klara Keffeler's 1904-05 report card
Klara Keffeler's report card for the 7th grade at the Churchtown Calhoun No. 3 school in 1905. The Keffeler's immigrated from Luxembourg and farmed in Church just across from the Calhoun Dairy. Many are buried at the Catholic cemetery outside Lansing. The monthly report was for October 17,
1904 to March 10, 1905 and March 27, 1905 to June 16,
1905. The teacher was Lora Aird. |
