PICNIC DINNER AT IRISH RIDGE SCHOOL
Saturday, May 7th marked another gala event of the school year when members of the district brot well filled baskets of food and a most delicious cafeteria dinner was served. The tables were overloaded with food, and many were the words of praise, said in behalf of the wonderful cooks who prepared the dinner.
After the dinner Messrs. Hagensick and Kroll rendered several musical selections to the delight of all, and Miss Lucretia Schofield, in a most pleasing manner presented the monologue "Tommy on Parent Teachers." These people proved to be very popular entertainers, and before we realized it the hours of the afternoon had slipped away. Others, enjoyed themselves in games, flower picking and social chats.
The guests present were: Mr. and Mrs. John Grady, Raymond and Joseph, Mrs. George Schofield, Donald, Harold and Lucretia; Mr. and Mrs. Ed Schaefer and Helen; Mr. and Mrs. T.E. Wilkins, Floyd, Violet and Wayne; Mrs. Irvin Schierholz and Gerald; Mr. and Mrs. Glen Hagensick and Clarence; Mr. and Mrs. Clifford McCrystal, Reta Ann Roschein, Mrs. Joseph Kroll, Mr. Dan Grady.
