Elmer Kenneth Yakish was born Feb. 9, 1914 to Joseph Edward and Hazel Estella Callahan Yakish. He died Mar. 2, 1945 and is buried in Lone Tree Cemetery, Carlisle, IA.
Lt. Yakish served in World War II with the U.S. Army and died of wounds received in action in Belgium.
