George L. Woodard was born Sept. 15, 1909. He died June 15, 1945 and is buried in the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Honolulu, Hawaii. He was initially buried in Okinawa 7th Cemetery, Ryukyu Retto.
Pvt. Woodard served in World War II with the U.S. Army Co. G, 17th Infantry and died in the service of his country.
