Our Men In Service
Sergeant A. Le Grande Wood, who recently returned from seven months of serving with the A. E. F., in Northern Ireland, has been on a furlough in the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Wood, 5311 Seger Avenue. He will attend an officers’ training school at Camp Croft, South Carolina. He was a member of a company which left here with the national guard for Camp Claiborne, Louisiana.

MEN AND WOMEN IN SERVICE
Lieut. A. LeGrande Wood, 5311 Segar Avenue, is now enrolled as a student officer in the army air forces preflight school at Maxwell field, Alabama. Lieut. Wood entered the army February 10, 1941. He was commissioned in the infantry at Fort Benning, Georgia, January 12, 1943.
