George Oscar Winkler was born Apr. 10, 1912 to John Adolph and Christina Marie Winkler. He died Nov. 29, 1944 and is buried in Graceland Park Cemetery, Sioux City, IA.
Pvt. Winkler served in World War II with the U.S. Army 395th Infantry, 90th Infantry Division, Headquarters Company.
