John Watson Wilson was born Feb. 27, 1917 to William Burton and Alice Perdue Wilson. He died Apr. 17, 1943 and is buried in Ardennes American Cemetery, Neupre, Belgium.
Lt. Wilson served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 401st Bomber Squadron, 91st Bomber Group, Heavy and was MIA/FOD/KIA when he failed to return from a bombing mission to Bremen, Germany and was awarded the Purple Heart and Air Medal.
