Robert Wallace ‘Bob’ Williamson was born Feb. 17, 1925 to Gerald and Emma Lettow Williamson. He was raised by his grandparents on their farm in Eldora, IA. He died Sept. 24, 2015, in Webster City, IA.
When Bob was 17, and just a junior in high school he joined the navy, where he was a 2nd Class Radarman. He spent time in Iceland, England, Casablanca and the South Pacific, and was involved in 13 major battles.
