Lyle A. Williams was born Nov. 22, 1921 to Elbert “Bert" and Harriet E. “Hattie” Zlabek Williams. He died Nov. 21, 1944 and is buried in Netherlands American Cemetery, Margraten, Netherlands.
Pvt. Williams served in World War II with the U.S. Army 333rd Infantry Regiment, 84th Infantry Division and was KIA against the enemy in Germany. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
