Le Roy C. White was born Jan. 17, 1919 to William Le Roy “Roy” and Mamie White. He died Aug. 3, 1942 and was buried in the Fort Des Moines Post Cemetery, Des Moines, IA. This cemetery is now defunct and remains have been moved to Keokuk National Cemetery, Keokuk, IA.
Pvt. White served in World War II with the U.S. Army Quartermaster Detachment and died at Fort Leonard Wood, MO while in the service of his country.
