Sander ‘Sandy’ Walterman was born Aug. 14, 1907 to Sander and Matina Buntje Walterman. He died May 23, 1979 and is buried in the First Presbyterian Cemetery, Kamrar, IA.
Private Walterman served in World War II with the 71st AAA, 89th Field Artillery in the European Theatre.
