Sergeant Paul M. Strong, son of Mr. and Mrs. L.W. Strong, is spending a seven-day furlough here, Sergeant Strong is stationed at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, in the finance office.

IN UNIFORM
Warrant Officer Paul M. Strong, son of Mr. and Mrs. L. W. Strong, 3705 Peters Avenue, is home on terminal leave after four years and eight months service in the army, half of which was overseas. Mr. Strong saw service in the Hawaiian Islands, New Guinea, Philippine Islands and Korea. Most thrilling of his experiences was a kamikaze attack which hit another ship in a convoy nearing the Philippines in February of this year.
