John Lyle Smith was born Sept. 22, 1915 to Charles and Sadie Ferguson Smith. He died Jan. 18, 2005. He is buried in Cass Center Cemetery, Webster City, IA.
John served with the U.S Army in World War II with the 3rd Armored Division in the European Theatre of Action.
