Cpl. Robert E. Smith, son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard B. Smith, 709 16th Street, now is stationed in England. His brother, Howard B. Smith Jr., seaman first class, is recuperating from an illness in a naval hospital in the United States after many months in the South Pacific.
