Ralph Wesley Sistern was born Dec. 24, 1923 to James and Sylvia Edith Deale Sistern. He died Nov. 27. 1943 and is memorialized at the Tablets of the Missing, North Africa American Cemetery, Tunis, Tunisia.
Pvt. Sistern served with the U.S. Army Air Corps 853rd Engineer Battalion, Aviation and was MIA/KIA. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
