Loras Eugene Simon was born Oct. 31, 1922 to Harry J. and Ruth E. Simon. He died June 3, 1944 and is buried in Sicily-Rome American Cemetery, Nettuno, Italy.
Pvt. Simon served in World War II with the U.S. Army 180th Infantry Regiment, 45th Infantry Division and was KIA in Italy and awarded the Purple Heart with 2 Oak Leaf Clusters.
