Lowell Edwin Schellhase was born Jan. 31, 1920 to Clarence and Freda Thomassen Schellhase. He died Jan. 25, 1988 and is buried in Big Grove-Homer Cemetery, Benton Co., IA.
Sgt. Schellhase served with the U.S. Marine Corps in World War II and was wounded in action.
