Guert Roskam, was born Nov. 8, 1924, at Rock Rapids, Iowa, and was residing at Hawarden, Iowa prior to entering the army on April 16, 1945 at Fort Snelling, Minn. He served with Bttry. B 586th AAA AW BN, left for overseas service on Oct. 9, 1945, returned on Nov. 6, 1946, and was honorably discharged on Dec. 29, 1946. His application for bonus pay was filed on May 20, 1949, for which he received $232.50.
