Elza Elsworth Replogle was born Nov. 25, 1920 to Tully Elsworth and Flo Henderson Replogle. He died July 27, 1944 and is buried in Brittany American Cemetery, Saint James, France.
Pvt. Replogle served in World War II with the U.S. Army 22nd Infantry Regiment, 4th Infantry Division and died of wounds received in action in France. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
