Pfc. K. J. Roethler Given Army Award
Pfc. Kenneth J. Roethler, son of Mrs. Veronica Roethler, Algona, was awarded the “Good Conduct Ribbon” by his commanding officer at a special ceremony at Camp Plauche, La.
The “Good Conduct Ribbon” is awarded for exemplary behavior, efficiency and fidelity to each enlisted man of the Army of the United States, who after December 7, 1941, has completed military service while the United States is at war.
