Robert Pearl Overton was born Sept. 24, 1919 to Pearl and Ethel L. Quick Overton. He died Feb. 16, 1944 and is buried in Highland Memory Gardens, Des Moines, IA.
Pvt. Overton served in World War II with the U.S. Army 899th Tank Destroyer Battalion and was KIA in Italy while serving his country.
