James Eldon Mustard was born Oct. 3, 1920 to Thomas S. and Mabel Biggins Mustard. He died Feb. 18, 1944 and is buried in Newton Union Cemetery, Newton, IA.
Sgt. Mustard served in World War II with the U.S. Army First Special Service Force, Anzio, Italy and died while in the service of his country.
