Darrell Robert Morris was born Sept. 14, 1924 to Robert Melvin and Cora C. Hammer Morris. He died Feb. 13, 1945 and is buried in Newton Memorial Park, Newton, IA.
Pvt. Morris served in World War II with the U.S. Army 143rd Infantry, 37th Infantry Division and died on Luzon while serving his country.
