James Edward Moredock was born Nov. 9, 1923 to Charles L. and Mary Jane McCauley Moredock. He died Mar. 6, 1945 and is buried in Newton Memorial Park, Newton, IA. He was originally buried in a military cemetery in Holland.
Pvt. Moredock served in World War II with the U.S. Army Co. F, 335th Infantry and was KIA in Germany as the division’s offensive over the Roer River was underway.
