Robert K. Mithelman was born Sept. 30, 1924 to Herman F. and Dorothy A. Arens Mithelman. He died Feb. 25, 1945 and is buried in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Fort Madison, IA.
Pvt. Mithelman served in World War II with the U.S. Army 11th Infantry, 6th Division and died in Luzon, Philippine Islands while serving his country.
