Funeral services for Edward W. Morrison, 19, radioman third class, who was killed in action October 5, 1943, at Fontanta, New Caledonia, were held Sunday afternoon at the Climbing Hill Cemetery.
He was the son of Mrs. Argie Morrison of Sioux City. The body was returned here from the Pacific combat area. The American Legion post at Moville participated in the military services, which were directed by the Harry Christy Funeral Home.

Edward Walter Morrison was born Aug. 23, 1924 to Oamer W. and Argie Thelma Metcalf Morrison. He died Oct. 5, 1943 and is buried in Westfork Township Cemetery, Climbing Hill, IA.
