Capt. William J. McAthie is visiting in the homes of Mr. and Mrs. L.B. Sample, 2609 McFaul Street, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert McAthie, 612 Turner Street. Capt. McAthie is a nephew of Robert McAthie and Mrs. Sample. Later he will visit his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George McAthie of Centerville, S.D.
The former Sioux Cityan has been in the service 47 months and is now on terminal leave. He spent nine months in the European theater of operations with a heavy artillery division. Capt. McAthie plans to make his home in California.
