Cpl. Clyde Luce, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Luce, 5116 Morningside Avenue, is home on a 30 day furlough after serving 34 months overseas with the eighth air force service command in England. Cpl. Luce has been awarded the presidential citation for meritorious achievement, previously earning the good conduct ribbon and several monitory awards. He will report for duty August 5, at Camp Grant, Illinois and will receive further orders in Tampa, Florida.
