Men In Service
Norman A. Lobb, 33, son of Mrs. Mary Lobb, 215 22d Street, Sioux City, has been graduated from recruit training as honor man of his company at the Great Lakes naval training station. Employed for 13 years as a hog buyer for Swift & Co. in Sioux City, Lobb left his job several weeks ago to enlist as a seaman, first class. Through a series of aptitude tests given the 130 men of his company, he has been selected to attend one of the navy’s service schools.
