Delmar R. Lawson was born Sept. 8, 1920 to Albert Ross and Mabel May Brown Lawson. He died Mar. 19, 1944 and is buried in Ames Municipal Cemetery, Ames, IA.
Pvt. Lawson served in World War II with the U.S. Army 148th Infantry, 37th Division and died of wounds received in action in Bougainville while serving his country.
