Lyle Eugene Kubite was born May 27, 1922 to Otto Paul and Hilda Fisher Kubite. He died Nov. 27, 1944 and is buried in Oak Hill Cemetery, Belle Plaine, IA.
Sgt. Kubite with the U.S. Army in World War II with the 94th Cavalry Reconnaissance Squadron Mechanized, 14th Armored Division. He was KIA in France.
