Frank Asbury Johnson was born May 11, 1910 to Albert L. and Elizabeth I. Christman Johnson. He died Aug. 22, 1945 and is buried in Ardennes American Cemetery and Memorial, Neuville-en-Condroz, Liege, Belgium.
Sgt. Johnson served with the U.S. Army Air Corps 726th Bomber Squadron, 451st Bomber Group, Heavy in Word War II. He was awarded the Air Medal and Purple Heart.
Pvt. Johnson is buried in Netherlands American Cemetery, Margraten, Netherlands and has a cenotaph in Oakland Cemetery, Peterson, IA.
