Brothers Meet After Two Days in Australia
Two Sioux Cityans, Corporal Edmund and Private Melvin Heenan, sons of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Heenan, 822 W. Sixth Street, chanced to meet in Australia on the second day after Corporal Heenan arrived there in February- six months after his brother.
The Heenan brothers entered the service nine months ago. Private Melvin, in the medical division, received training in California and Corporal Heenan was sent to Boston for training. A third son of Mr. and Mrs. Heenan is Private Emmett who entered the service March 15, and recently was sent for training with the air corps at Miami, Florida.
