IN UNIFORM
Sgt. Duncan M. Harper, son of Mr. and Mrs. H.C. Harper, 1901 George Street, is a member of a unit which received a commendation for its contribution in aiding an Eighth air force fighter group to become operational in 11 days after arrival on this station. Sgt. Harper, who entered the army in March 1943 is an assistant crew chief on this airfield.
