Luvern Franklin Husted was born Feb. 12, 1921 to Frank and Elizabeth L. Rasmussen Husted. He died Oct. 25, 1944 and is buried in Manila American Cemetery and Memorial, Manila, Philippines.
Pvt. Husted served with the U.S. Army 34th Infantry, 24th Division and was KIA in Leyte, Philippine Islands. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
