Lt. A. K. Huling

IN UNIFORM

Lt. A. K. Huling, in a letter to his mother, Mrs. C.F. Huling, 2401 Nebraska Street, mentioned his transfer from the 162d infantry into the regimental intelligence division. He has been in New Guinea and Leyte and with the veteran 41st infantry division, that has been overseas 36 months, invaded the Mindoro Islands in the southern Philippines. Before the invasion he spent two weeks in a hospital, which was under the direction of Dr. Phillip Bettler of Sioux City.
