Men In Service
Robert Hanson, son of Mr. and Mrs. G. E. Hanson of Des Moines, formerly of Sioux City, was commissioned second lieutenant at Camp Davis, North Carolina. Since that time he has been in service in Puerto Rico, but at present his location is unknown. Lieut. Hanson is a graduate of Central High School and Drake University and attended a business school here.

Robert Lee Hanson was born Mar. 12, 1921 to George A. and Rebecca Jane Bursell Hanson. He died July 16, 2013 and is buried in Calvary Cemetery, Sioux City, IA.
Robert served with the U.S. Army in World War II.
